Australia: Blue Mountains NSW

I was planning on blogging throughout my trip to Australia, but the honest truth is I have just been having too much fun! But me and my Boyfriend made it half way across the world and yes, the journey wasn't pleasant but was worth every hour.

We are staying with my boyfriend's grandparents who live in Bowral NSW and not too far from them is the blue mountains. Going up and around the blue mountains was so refreshing. From hearing kookaburras in the trees to be able to look out onto nothing but trees and not a building in sight. No stress from work or social life just breathing in the fresh air and catching the sun rays. This is what I needed. I work as a supervisor at a shop and it is a fast paced job and one in which you don't get a lot of fresh air as you are in store for 10 hours so to be able to relax with nature is just what I needed. This is the most beautiful country I have ever seen and I am so excited to explore more.

Review: Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment

The tag line on this Lee Stafford product is "for hair that never grows past a certain length". As soon as I read that I was interested as my hair is not short however it has not grown past a certain length in at least a year, therefore I thought I would try this treatment.

I have never been so happy with a product. You put it through your hair in between shampoo and conditioner and rinse and it leaves your hair feeling silky smooth and tangle free which is good for me, seeing as my hair is so thick and tangles easily. I was sure I could see a difference in length straight away, but maybe that was just wishful thinking. I have been using this every time I wash my hair which is every other day fo 2 weeks and my hair is in much better condition and visibly longer too! I would recommend this to anyone who is having trouble growing out their hair. The pink packaging and the pink product inside is a bonus and it smells so good! £8.49 for 200 ml you can't go wrong!!

Graduation - Class of 2016

Yesterday I graduated in Fashion Journalism from the University Of creative Arts. That achievement is now with me for life I am a graduate. The three years were eventful, challenging, inspiring and life changing and I will cherish the memories and keep the thing that I was taught with me for life. Getting to celebrate it with my fellow graduands, my family, and my boyfriend was overwhelming and an amazing experience.

As each course is announced they say the achievements that have already been achieved by pupils on each course which honestly left me feeling a bit down as I pondered what is I have achieved? Why wasn't my name mentioned? But I have achieved so much even if it has not placed me in a career quite yet. I made a whole magazine by myself, I learnt confidence which I lacked before starting Uni and I have changed so much in the past few years for the better and hopefully that will help me in later life.

But now I need a career. I have a job, I am a sales assistant but that isn't a career. But how do I choose a career when I have no idea what I want to do. On December 8th I go to Australia for a Month and either before then or while I'm there I need to decide on the career in which I will pursue for probably the rest of my life. Zandra Rodes who is the Chancellor at my University said if you don't know what you want to do now that is okay, even if next year you do not know your degree doesn't disappear I am now a graduate and who knows what my next Chapter is. This is not the end, this is the beginning.

Bondi Sands Everday Tanning Milk: Review

I have extremely pale skin and am fond of a bit of fake tan. However, I usually end up patchy or orange. I have found even with gradual tans that it always becomes patchy (this may be my application). However, I have now found the holy grail of all tanning products. Bondi Sans everyday tanning milk has been a lifesaver. It has a really gorgeous glowy colour that looks like a completely natural tan and can be applied so smoothly. I have been using for three weeks every day when I have got out the shower and it has given me the perfect all over glow.

I did find however, that when I went to stay with my mum for the weekend and forgot to bring it with me that it did start to go patchy so it does need to be used every day.  It is not a chore to put on as it goes over the skin smoothly and smells delicious so much so that I look forward to putting in on where in other cases I honestly just didn't put in the effort. You also don't get any orange bits in between your fingers! WIN!

I bought it from Superdrug on offer for £7.99 but I think it is back to its original price of £11.99 which is still great value for money. I have about a quarter of the bottle left which means I used three-quarters in 3 weeks which I think is pretty good. I really recommend anyone gives it a go, especially as we are starting to see a bit of sun now in the UK!

The Intern

I recently watched 'The Intern' starring Robert Deniro and Anne Hathaway. I have always loved a feel good film nothing makes me feel better than curling up with a cup of tea and watching a real feel good film.

A quick synopsis of the film for those of you who are not familiar of the film: Anne Hathaway's character has started up her own business on her own and it has become hugely successful as it has expanded. The company think of trying something different and hiring a senior citizen intern. This is where Robert Deniro comes in, he is a widower who still enjoys getting up in the morning and being productive. When he sees an advert for this internship he decided to give it a go. Anne Hataway is not thrilled to be given a senior to work with but soon grows to love him as does the audience. To have that much aspirations at 70 is so inspiring to see.

One of my favourite things in this film is the true friendship you see between this unlikely to people and they have both had their hard times as we see throughout the film and they help each other get through it and it really is such a heart warming film and I would highly recommend it to anyone especially if you need so uplifting.

LF Loves - February's Look Fantastic Beauty Box

I know I am a bit late on this one but here it is- February's Look Fantastic Beauty Box. This month's box revolved around valentines as it is the month of Love it had all things you need for a perfect Valentines Day.

1. First of all was the Monuspa relaxing Bali massage and body oil. This feels so nice on the skin, it's perfect for if you have dry skin I used it on my legs which get quite dry in the winter and it did wonders. It can also be used to massage seeing as it is valentines and it glides so smoothly and has the most relaxing scent. I would never really think of buying something like this but I am definitely going to re purchase once I have finished it.

2. Next up is one of the best body butters I have ever used. I love the body shop body butter and have done for years but sometimes it just feels much to think and isn't very good if you are in a rush as it takes a while to spread evenly on your body. This 'Bliss' Pink Grapefruit and aloe body butter, however, is amazing. Firstly the scent, I love anything with a grapefruit scent so it is doing well from the outset. It is more like a moisturiser than the body shop body butters as it glides on the skin a lot easier however it is just as moisturising as it would be from a thicker substance. Also, the size is perfect for a night away as it is in a compact tube and makes you skin feel like silk!

3. This next product I was very excited about. I always like to try new things on my brows so when I saw this 'Hi Impact Brows' kit I couldn't wait to try it. I personally prefer a pencil to a powder however I have been using the powder to fill in the middle of my brows and a pencil to get the shape and it actually stays on all day. It can also be used as a contour palette which I have used it for every day since I received it. The colours are perfect for contour as they are quite dark and not too warm and I have been having compliments on my contouring ever since I started using it so I would definitely recommend this. Additionally, it's full size!

4.  Now we are onto the lip product of the month which is the Lord and Berry Matte lipstick Pencil. I never usually use lip products I don't know why I just prefer to have natural lips. This is why I like this product because it doesn't feel as though you have anything on, it is quick and easy to apply and it is a lovely neutral shade so it is perfect for days when you don't want to wear a lot of makeup but still look as though you have made a bit of an effort. Also, it is perfect for a date night as if you do have a cheeky kiss it doesn't smudge or come off at all!

5.  Next up is a handbag essential a mini Denman hairbrush! This is perfect to keep in your bag if you are going on a date or going clubbing. Unfortunately, for me, I have quite curly hair that if you brush it when dry you end up looking as though you have been electrocuted! However, it would be useful when my hair is straight and for anyone else that likes to brush their hair on the go.

6.  The last product was  KMS colour vitality conditioner. I dyed my hair purple earlier this month so was in need of a colour protection conditioner and its purple conditioner! It is not very good if you have thick tangled prone hair like me, so I use my Tresemme conditioner first to get out all the tangles and then I do a second conditioner with this and it leaves my hair silky soft. If you have thinner hair that doesn't tangle easily you would be fine using this on its own. My colour has faded slightly but it has been about three weeks so I would expect it to fade slightly but I can still see a hint of purple.

If all of that was enough there was also a full Elle magazine included to read as you have a pamper!

That is everything I got in this months Look Fantastic box and I will let you know what I get in March's (MY BIRTHDAY MONTH)

Hope You all had a fab weekend

Welcome Back!

I adore reading blogs. I love reading something from someone else's thoughts and finding out what other people are finding interesting or loving at the moment. The same way as many people love reading books which of course I do also but reading blogs is one of my favourite past times.

This brought me to think if other people feel the way I do about blogs then I should give them the chance to read mine and get that same excitement that I get. Over the last few years, my life has got a lot more hectic as I am now in my final year of University! (How did that happen!?) This has resulted in me being a bit lazy towards my blog and in fact just neglecting it.

However I am going to try my best from now on to keep you all updated and give back some of the pleasure I find reading blogs and hopefully some of you will feel the same about mine.

Stay Happy
